The Handy Answer Book for Kids (and Parents) The Intrigue at Highbury Giveaway
Dec 10

I am definitely a coffee person. I look forward to having a cup after waking up. There is nothing quite like the first sip of hot coffee early in the morning. By the afternoon, when I’m looking for something hot to drink, I tend to start up the tea kettle to make myself a hot cup of tea. When the Bag Ladies Tea company contacted me to offer me a sample of their line of specialty teas called Novel Teas I decided to give it a try.

Novel Teas is Bag Ladies Tea’s newest line of tea designed especially for the book lover. I received the Novel Tea Box which includes 25 tea bags, each with different literary quotes on individually printed tea tags. They also sent me a Novel Tea Pouch which includes 5 tea bags (and which I plan on giving away to one of you in the near future).

The packaging of Novel Teas is quite pretty. With quotes from various authors on the packaging as well as the tea bag tag (my cup of tea included a very true saying by Henry Ward Beecher “Where is human nature so weak as in a bookstore?”) the Bag Ladies Tea company have designed a lovely package for tea drinkers and book lovers.

The tea itself is a flavorful English Breakfast Tea that I enjoyed very much. I think that Novel Teas would be a perfect gift for a book lover in your life! If you know someone who enjoys drinking tea but is not a big reader (are there really such people out there?) then you should check out the Bag Ladies Tea line of whimsical teas. You may be able to find the perfect gift for the teacher, gardener or relative in your life. Or maybe one of these beautifully packaged teas from their Blossom collection. Please note that the Bag Ladies Tea only ship in the US.

Thank you Bag Ladies Teas for sending me a sample of your tea. I am really enjoying it.

THAT is totally precious. I love tea (I hate coffee), and I drink it especially when it gets cold (under 60 degrees in Florida!), but I might even drink it in the summmer if it made me feel more literary! This is so cool.

This sounds awesome! I already know what I’m getting my mom for Christmas, but I think I might get this for her for her b’day next month! She loves tea and books!

I’m a coffee drinker myself but these teas are too wonderful! I love that they have literary quotes and there is something to be said for a nice hot cop of tea while you are reading a really great book!

I was never a big tea lover until I moved to the UK, after living a year in London I cannot get enough of the stuff and I spend almost as much on tea as I do in books! Leaves and bags and hybrids, there is so much to choose from but at night when I want a cuppa before bed I always want a dark English Breakfast Tea. The quotes seem fun and whimsical, people who are in book clubs should think about having a box around for their host nights. Thanks for alerting me to this tea, I will put it on my list of teas to check out (yes there is a list and yes it is epic).

Brilliant! I love everything about this – from the packaging, the quotes, their company and product names, to the flavor tea that’s featured in Novel Teas.

Yes, these would make a great gift (or gift to yourself). What is this nonsense about people who don’t read?!?

These teas look lovely! Glad to hear that it actually tasted nice as well as looking so pretty. I think it is something I will have to try – right now I get my tea & reading fix by buying Library Tea online from Murchie’s in Vancouver: it’s a green/black blend and quite a tasty, mild tea.
