The Unnamed What to do on a snow day (part 2)
Feb 25

We are currently getting hit with not one but two big snow storms. It all started around 3 a.m. and the weatherman says that the snow won’t stop till sometime tomorrow night! Of course the kids have off of school so we have been keeping busy around here (and will most likely be together again tomorrow). There is something nice about not having to rush out of the house in the morning and just stay in our pjs.

I do love snow days! Or any day when we don’t have to rush out of the house. Or any day I don’t have to go to work. Looks like the girls are keeping busy; we used to stock up on treats and enjoy a movie marathon on snow days with all of the movie theater treats. Heck, I’ll bet my kids still haven’t outgrown wanting to do that…or play with Play-doh!

The sun is shining here, so I’ve been out and about and have taken a couple walks. I love the picture of your girls with the strawberries.

And what a beautiful SPACE you have for crafts and hanging out and being warm and cozy while it blizzards outside! Happy Snowday!

I’m so glad my kids aren’t the only ones spending the day in their PJs. I think we’re actually gearing up for a little mid-storm shoveling before it gets too high. Great pictures!

Well, we got about 4 inches last night but for the most part we are used to it. (Chicago). I only work from home if it’s calling for more than 6 inches. :) Glad you guys had fun! Maybe tomorrow you can let them have fun in all of it.

Ah yes, snow. I’m familiar with that. :-) Looks like you gals are doing just fine with it!

This doesn’t sound too bad to me. What a nice relaxing day. Love the pic of Joe working, or is that relaxing, at home!

Snow days sound like so much fun. I’ve never had one before. The inside of your house is so beautiful…and bright! I never get that much sunlight in my house, and I live in sunny southern California! I’m glad your girls are keeping themselves busy. There’s so much to do, isn’t there?

I see a familiar piece of a cover in one of those shots! I would love to be reading it right now, but I’m babysitting my college students on a Saturday (snow makeup day). At this point, I don’t think the snow was worth it. lol

Looks like y’all had a great time!

Snow days can be lovely and cosy inside! We’re supposed to get a bit more snow this weekend, but not much I think.
